about me + my approach
I create documentary style wedding films for artistic couples in New York City, capturing moments on Super 8, 16mm, and camcorder for a timeless, cinematic feel. I am a Super 8 wedding videographer based in Brooklyn. LGBTQ friendly videographer new york city
In a room full of people, you'll usually find me on the edges—watching, listening, observing, before jumping into the mix. I think this is why documentary filmmaking has come so naturally to me. That said, I come from a big, loud, and loving family, so I am no stranger to laughter, chaos, and fun. These parts of myself heavily play into my approach on wedding days.
While I may offer subtle guidance if needed, my primary focus is to let your day evolve naturally, so you can be fully present with your partner and loved ones. I keep a calm and relaxed energy throughout the day to help you feel at ease in front of the camera, and favor moments when no one knows the camera is rolling.
Your highlight video will be a thoughtful retelling of your wedding day, blending the sounds of your ceremony, vows, and toasts to create a cohesive story. You can expect true-to-life colors (with the occasional black and white if it feels right), and some damn good music. I believe documentation through video is invaluable, and is something I hold very close to my heart, so let me do it for you while you celebrate!
